experienced the birth of our second (most heaviest baby) child, Sebastien. I experienced excruciating hip and lower back pain throughout the pregnancy and afterwards too. I had a three finger separation in my abdominals, and thanks to our brilliant Physiotherapists I was able to tighten my abdominal muscles and become pain free again through one on one Pilates sessions. I couldn’t believe how helpful Pilates was, with just some small movements, through persistence, I was able to function normally and gain my pre baby strength back again. I was completely sold on the benefits of Pilates, I realised that my Physio’s were prescribing Pilates as a prevention and cure, but had to refer them outside of our practice for group classes, at that time we did not have the space. After much blood sweat and tears, we knocked down our back wall and were able to extend our practice to include a brand new reformer Pilates studio.

At Fine Form Physiotherapy, our Pilates classes are run by highly experienced Physiotherapists inside a fully equipped Pilates studio at our Gladesville Physio clinic. Our small group classes are limited to a maximum of 5 students so that you can receive a highly tailored exercise routine and specialised clinical attention to achieve your health goals.
Pilates classes are an effective and fun way to improve your strength, flexibility, balance, core strength and treat injuries. Pilates is suitable for all ages and fitness levels, our Physiotherapists will provide personalised guidance to suit your individual strength and flexibility and can cater for those with injuries. Morning, evening and weekend classes are available. We’ll supply the equipment needed for the class, but we recommend that you bring a water bottle, a towel and non-slip socks. Pilates non-slip socks can also be purchased at reception.
Clinical Pilates Classes (55mins)
Utilising a combination of equipment (Reformer, Trapeze, Therabands, etc) and mat work, you will be exposed to a variety of exercises as part of a group training regime.
Suitable for individuals beginner to advanced.
Initial assessment needed.
Is suitable for Clients with injuries or Pregnant Clients
You can use your Private Health Fund to cover the cost of your classes. Bookings for these classes can be made via reception or over the phone. We provide you with a receipt every time you attend a class, so that you can claim it back from your Health Fund.
New students must attend an initial assessment with one of our Physiotherapists. During the assessment, we’ll evaluate current, past or potential injuries and determine your skill level so that you can get the best experience possible and reach your goals. The initial assessment is 30 minutes and costs $90 (this can be covered by your private health fund).
Physio Clinical Reformer classes cost:
$400 for a 10 week term (1 class a week)
$800 for a 10 week term (2 class a week)
Pilates Cancellation Policy
A maximum of 2 classes per term can be refunded to you, to be able to claim for this you must inform us within 2hr before start of class.

Private Pilates Classes
Would you like all the attention on you? Then you might like to consider a private one-on-one Pilates class. Private Pilates classes may be booked for groups of 1 to 2 students. Private class fees vary depending on the number of students in your group:
$110 per class for a 1 on 1 private class (45 mins)
$110 per class for 2 students ($55 each, 45 mins)
